Liverpool's Echo and the Bunnymen have had an illustrious 25- plus-year career, spanning a sonic range of dark post-punk and pyschedelic sounds that have made them one of the most successful bands in the U.K. Sonic hypnosis, aching anthems, pop sensibilities, brooding indie magnificence, semi-funk riffs and charming guitar lines - whatever elements a particular song contains, Echo and the Bunnymen have refused to be categorized by any genre. Their most recent album, 'Siberia,' was released during the fall of 2005.
